Hot Cross Buns and Eggs!

We had a good time on Easter. I got some duck eggs from our neighbors. They are bigger than Chicken eggs and were really tasty...a little creamier than regular eggs. Owen and Raisa hunted for baskets and eggs. Owen was really good about keeping quiet if he found Raisa's baskets. They had fun hunting for eggs too. We had snow on the ground, so once again no hunting outside. After the hunt we had a light breakfast of Granola, yogurt and fruit, Easter Eggs and Hot Cross Buns. Yummy! We cleaned up the dishes and then Scott, Corrine, Ross and I played Trivial Pursuit. The game seemed really dated. Of course, being the senior person, I won. We had ham and many sides for dinner. For dessert we had White Cake with Lemon Curd filling and Banana Cream Pie. Corrine and I baked those on Saturday when we had our monthly baking session. We forgot to take pictures!! I made the Hot Cross Buns from a recipe in the Rocky Mtn. News and we all loved them. We had a wonderful day. Earlier in the day it was snowing like crazy, so Opa decided not to come. We missed him.
