Yesterday was PURPLE DAY! at Raisa's school. All the kids were suppossed to wear purple, they had their fingernails painted purple, they sang about purple, they counted purple grapes, and had grape (purple) Kool-Aid. The first thing Raisa said when she woke up was "Its PURPLE day!" She had a great time. This week is the first week for her to be going to school three times. Last "semester" she was only going on thursday mornings, but asked almost daily if she was going to be able to go see Ms. Angie. Scott and I asked Ms. Angie if she thought Raisa would do o.k. going three times a week...... she thought she would do fine. It is a whole new group of kids though. I talked with her about it on Sunday night, telling her that she would be meeting new friends. It did not phase her one bit. The first thing she did when Scott got home that afternoon, was to rush up to him, hug his legs, and say "Daddy, I met all new friends today!!!" Seems like she is adjusting fine!
